Yes it is very good option to choose masters even if you are in Dehradun ,
It will increase your placement chances ,
These are some jobs after masters in geography ,
one can apply for ES SO.(earth system science organisation). There is good demand for the faculty posts too. Other than this many government vacancies are available in different departments like forest services, petroleum industries etc.The best option is teaching where u can pursue phd and earn good bucks simultaneously.
