After completing MBBS a candidate start to earn money and may pursue higher education to achieve better career platform. After becoming a doctor financial security can be achieved, especially your parents will get satisfaction. And with your capability and intuition you can reach sky high. In case of aspiring scientists after completing postgraduate and cracking some of the toughest national level eligibility test you could join Ph.D. And the Ph.D. life is the most challenging time. Even if you have scored high in eligibility test, their is no confirmation of fellowship money you will get regularly. Some time you may have to work without pay for years. In this part of the career your supervisor will push you to be more productive and to devote most of the time of a day to lab, in family parents will be worried because of your financial insecurity, by this if you make your own family the situation may further aggravate and last your personal enthusiasm will be highly challenged. After completing Ph.D. successfully in time, next phase is the ‘Post Doc’ where insecurity still exists. After all of this hustle and tussle if you are still alive, you may apply for scientist position. And to get the permanent position in a reputed organization you have to compete-out many of the extremely brilliant deserving candidates.  So in terms of money/respect/security doctor profession is great and in terms of high respect/enthusiasm/passion for invention/quest for innovation/to contribute for humanity in broad spectrum scientist profession is the only option. But at the end I would just like to say that it totally depends upon you that in which career you wanna go and see yourself because everyone will give yo thousands of opinion but at last you'll have to make a choice so make a great choice.
