According to the NTA Information Bulletin https://ntaneet.nic.in/ntaneet/ShowPdf.aspx? Dyslexia is considered an intellectual disability. MCI has a rule stating that Candidates with learning disability can study MBBS but are not eligible to claim reservation under disability category. To quote the MCI guideline, " lack of objective method/quantification of disability to establish presence and extent of mental illness" is the reason why dyslexia cannot be considered a disability. This means you cannot determine a patient's extent of dyslexia on the basis of one test on one particular day. The MCI guidelines state that a Candidate with or more then 40% dyslexia cannot be recommended for Reservation under PWD. So any Candidate with or more than 40% of dyslexia is eligible to appear for NEET and should he/she secure a seat in MBBS can study but cannot be eligible for PWD reservation.
