Hello,

Eligibility criteria for admission in BHU requires a candidate to have passed class 10+2 or equivalent examinations with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks with subjects like physics, chemistry, and any one of the following subjects: Biology, Geology, and Geography. BHU does offer Biotechnology course at Undergraduate level but it does offer B.Sc in Microbiology. The admission is based on entrance exam named BHU UET. There will be 150 questions of 450 marks and time alloted will be 2 hours. Exam will be based on Multiple Choice Questions.

Hello dear candidate,

The answer is No. Banaras Hindu University does not offer B.Sc in Microbiology but it offers master courses occasionally in Hons. the degree that is equivalent to a Hons Degree. It is one of the topmost universities in India. A candidate who has the opportunity to get into BHU can blindly get their paths towards BHU. The trusted course and exposure the universities provide to their candidates are remarkable.

It offers other courses such as

  • Geography
  • Botany
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Home science

Coming to the part of which entrance exam is needed so, there is an exam called BHU UET. It allows candidates to get themselves admitted into various undergraduate courses.  What you need to do is to prepare by following these mentioned steps below

  • Start by knowing the syllabus and apt books.
  • Read the chapters and prepare notes.
  • Solve previous year questions and give mock tests for better grip.
  • Analyze the topics you are lagging in.
  • Do not forget to make flashcards that are super beneficial in last-minute revision.

Eat healthily and do meditation.

Hope this helps.
