· You can work as a Biomedical Engineer in the Hospitals
· You can pursue Masters from any of the IIT's, IIT Bombay, Madras, Hyderabad and Kharagpur. Thus escalating your Salary figures
· You can be a Biomedical Entrepreneur, Biomedical Engineering offers the best scope for the same among any other branch of engineering
· You can pursue MBA in Hospital management or Hospital Administration and become a Hospital manager in which you control all the aspects of hospitals

In Biomedical Engineering, you can get various type of jobs like Sales Engineer, Service Engineer, Application Specialist, R&D Engineer, Design Engineer. But these job profiles are nothing when compared to the mechanical engineering scope as mechanical is a core branch and Biomedical is a specialized branch. After Finishing your mechanical engineering you can take up Biomedical Engineering Job as well Now coming on to salary and growth? Biomedical Engineering offers growth opportunities as well as growth if you have got some experience under your belt, as a fresher you wont be able to get the desired job and you might get frustrated. You will get software job whether you pursue Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
