Hello,
A physiotherapy student has an option to pursue higher education after BPT and can also specialize in the field of physiotherapy. BPT graduates are also eligible for courses like hospital administration , business management, public health management & various other postgraduate programs. In order to apply for BPT programmes, you will have to pass your 10+2 with at least 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the compulsory subject. Also, you will have to qualify entrance exams for admission to BPT programmes i.e. Common Entrance Test (CET), GGSIPU CET, etc
Bpt is a good career option for the future but you need to keep in mind that there is a minimum scope for female physios in India. My elder sister is a physio as well and right now she is in the USA for her training because there is a huge spectrum of opportunities outside India for a Physio.
Hope it helps you
All the best for your future!
