Hello,

CBSE does not have any specific restrictions regarding mehendi (henna) on nails during board exams. However, schools may have their own guidelines regarding appearance, including bans on excessive adornment like henna.

These rules are typically for maintaining a disciplined and uniform appearance. If your school insists on avoiding henna, it’s best to comply with their rules to avoid any issues.

During board exams, the primary focus is on your exam performance, and as long as it doesn't affect your exam conduct or uniform code, there shouldn't be a problem with mehendi. However, follow your school’s instructions to avoid penalties.

You can go through the CBSE guidelines for more details.

Hope it helps !
