Does clincal embryology require MBBS degree?

It is necessary for you to have a MBBS degree to pursue Clinical Embryology .
The following is the list of criteria required-
1. For post graduate diploma - You must have a graduation degree in the required subjects with a minimum passing percentage and a minimum percentile in 10+2 as well.
2. Different universities have entrance tests based on which you get admission to Clinical Embryology course.
3. For a Masters degree in Clinical Embryology- A graduation degree and 10+2 in relevant and required subjects with minimum passing percentage. Entrance test marks required as well.
Some entrance exams of the top institutes in the country include -
1. AIIMS entrance exam
2. BITSAT ( conducted by Birla Institute of Technological sciences
3.MET (All India Manipal Entrance Test)

Clinical Embryology is a stream of biology which mainly focuses on the study of fertilization of eggs and the healthy development of the embryos. Embryologists mainly work with physicians and assist their patients with reproductive complications and well-beings. Clinical embryologists work in hospitals or independent fertility clinics. They can establish their own clinics as well. Specialized doctors working in the field of Clinical Embryology are known as embryologists. An embryologist plays an important role in every stage of IVF treatment.
For Clinical embryology, one has to complete bachelor’s degree in biological science, followed by a PG qualification, preferably in Assisted Reproductive Technology or Embryology or biotechnology. A formalized curriculum for scientists encompassing 1 or 2 years of instructive, theoretical and practical training in embryology is required to become a qualified embryologist. You'll need to apply for a science-based degree course at university, such as biology, microbiology or genetics.
The skills come with experience. embryologists or IVF doctor is a doctor who had done specialization in these fields and on order to do so you have to have compulsorily the degree of MBBS, like after the MBBS you can pursue PG in Ob-gyn then you can further specialize in IVF TMT.
