Delhi University conduct an exam popularly known as DU CATE exam.

This exam is for students who wants to take admission in Delhi University BA hons. English.

Delhi University Common Aptitude Test for English is conducted by National Testing Agency.

Eligibility for DU CATE -

i.A student must have passed class 12th with at least 60% marks in English.

ii.A student must have 60%(best of four) aggregate in class 12th.

No DU does not conduct any entrance exam for admissions in B.A English (HONS). Bachelor of Arts in English is three years full time undergraduate Hons course, offered by University of Delhi, Delhi. The merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects. Candidate must have passed an aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination from recognized board to be eligible for this course. The applicant must have studied and passed english in the qualifying exam and should include English for calculation of ‘Best Four’ percentage.
