In this regard it is important to learn and find out in detail about the entrances which grant admission to the MBA entrance exam. So in this article we are focused on defining a clear distinction betweenMAT(Management Aptitude Test) andCMAT (Common Management Aptitude Test).
Candidates appearing for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) will have an edge over those appearing for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) in terms of number of questions to be attempted and nature of test.
CMATwill have a total of 100 questions across 4 sections (25 questions for each section) that need to be attempted over 180 minutes. This gives candidates ample time to spend on a particular question/ section. However, candidates appearing for MAT will have to attempt 200 questions across 5 sections (40 questions for each section) that need to be attempted over 150 minutes. Since CMAT will be held for the first time, candidates can use the facility of Trial Test provided by AICTE to know the nature of paper.
Besides this,CMAT in the computerized format once in a yearand on the other handMAT is conducted four times in a year(Feb, May, Sep and Dec) in both paper based and CBT (Computer based Test).MAT Febexam held on feb 03 paper pen base and Feb 09 Computer based Test.CMAT Exam 2018 held on 21 Jan 2018.
