DBS Dehradun offers admission to a variety of programmes based on both entrance exams and merit. All UG courses are admitted based on the results of the previous qualifying examination. Doon Business School offers admission to MA Mass Communication and MSc Agriculture programmes at the postgraduate level based on the candidates' bachelor's degree grades. For admission to the PGDM and M.B.A programmes, the institute accepts scores from the MAT/ CAT/CMAT/ XAT/  GMAT entrance exams.

Candidates' past academic records and online personal interview performance are taken into account for admission to UG programmes. There are nine undergraduate courses available at the college. UG programmes can last anywhere from three to five years. To enrol in Doon Business School UG programmes, candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board.
