Hi,
One of the major challenges study abroad aspirants face is to arrange funds for pursuing their higher education abroad. In this article, we will inform you about the difference between a Scholarship and a Freeship. The scholarship is basically a financial aid offered to students for pursuing studies while a Freeship is an exemption of the fee amount. Various educational institutions offer Freeship i.e. exemption of the tuition fee ranges from 50 to 90 percent to students based on merit. Whereas, scholarships are offered to students based on merit and their family income.
Freeship
Freeship is when the total tuition fee is paid by the authority which is sponsoring it for the time period which they have approved. Some universities offer Freeship where they waive off the tuition fee, however, the student has to pay for the accommodation and food expenses.
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
