Dear Kavya, CAT is the brainchild of the IIMs. Every year each IIM takes a turn to conduct CAT. This is the entrance exam for admission to all the 20 IIMs and almost 1000 Institutions accept CAT score. So only CAT score is accepted in IIMs and not GMAT. Across all the IIMs, a sectional cut off of 50 percentile and an overall percentil of 60 percentile is the general cut off for SC Category.
