Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great. There is a home state quota; there is no home state rank. In NITs, some seats are set aside for residents of the home state. The first student who is admitted into that branch is said to have the opening rank, and the final student admitted into that branch is said to have the closing rank. Both the home state and other state quotas are available in the JEE Mains.
Depending on where they place in the rank list, candidates will have the option to take part in the NEET 2022 counselling. For the 85% of seats reserved under the state quota, the state-wise rank will be released in accordance with the criteria established by the conducting authority.
ALL THE BEST
Hello,
If you are getting admission under state rank then home state rank is ofcourse matter. But if you enter a college under All India Rank then AIR is matter alot then state rank.
State rank might be essential if you want to enroll in a reputable institution in your state. The finest colleges will have high cutoffs in order to attract the best students, therefore if you want to enroll in a reputable college, you must have a high state rank.
