To get admission in any of the IITs, you will have to clear Jee advanced exam as this is the mandatory criteria so if you wish to get seat there then you will have to appear in this exam and will have to get decent score.

IIT Hyderabad does not accept KVPY score. For Undergraduate Engineering programmes it takes the admission through JEE Advance, Admission to M.Tech programs through GATE and Admission to the M.Sc program requires B.Sc or an equivalent degree with 65% for GE/OBC, 60% for SC/ST or equivalent in the respective or allied areas with exceptional academic record and possessing a valid IIT JAM score to apply.
