Industrial engineering has a good scope in future. Placements in this sector is increasing. There is this recent development of interest in companies in Data mining, with production engineers which seems like a great opening for production engineers.

Industrial engineering have good scope in the future. It provides good placements. Salary is offerd good in this course. You can work in variety of settings (Aerospace, architectural, navigational, electronic, automobile industries). There is easy promotion to management positions

Options to work in different sectors (Supply chain management, quality assurance, project management)
