In terms of jobs, it will not effect much and in general you will get placed with salary packages like the BTech graduates. But the knowledge you will acquire in terms of specialization can lead you further to the senior positions in the company with time.

So yeah! the course is worth doing provided you are sure that you want to specialize in the field. Many times, students gets into the Integrated course but they aren't interested to get specialized and as a result, they feel the curriculum as a burden in there final year.
