JIPMER Puducherry has a total intake of 187 seats which are offered under two quotas. The seats are divided as 70% under all India quota and the remaining 30% through state quota. Besides this there are 25 seats for postgraduate courses and 22 seats for super speciality courses. The full name of this Institute is Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of postgraduate Medical Education and Research.
