For lateral entry in College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, you will have to give LET.
Once you give the examination, the admission will be given based on the ranks released by the Joint Controller of Technical Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram. For Eligibility, the candidate must have completed diploma in any engineering branch from a recognised university. The maximum age limit is 30 years.
For admissions in Indian maritime University, you don't have to give CET. You will have to fill the application form on the official website and then you will be shortlisted according to your age and qualifications. The minimum eligibility criteria is that you must have completed diploma with overall 55% score and you must have 50% score in English subject in 10th and diploma.
Once you get shortlisted, you will be called to the campus with required documents.

Mostly colleges takes JEE main for engineering admission and cutoff for lateral entry is different than 12th pass out students admission. Some colleges conducts a different exam for lateral entry candidates.

There is no separate exam to be taken. You will get selected as per your score in KEAM exam.
Indian Maritime University:- It has not given the cutoff. It accepts IMU-CET for admission. It provides Btech in marine engineering.
