Lpu offers over 200 programmes, You can take direct admission in lpu  without LPUNEST but not in all programs. For most of the programs LPUNEST is mandatory. However, there are some programs like BA, B Com, BCA and BBA for which LPUNEST is not needed.

In some courses its compulsory to appear and qualify that particular exam the courses like b.tech, b.arch and mba, but in courses like ba, b.com, bba its not necessary to appear in LPUNEST if you want scholarship then you can apply for the same but you are interested in that also then there in no need to appear in the exam called LPUNEST.

This exam is conducted by the LPU at National level in order to decide the eligibility of the candidate for admission into a program (where LPUNEST is mandatory) & offers scholarship based on their performance on this exam.
