b ut the most famous one if the NEST(Senior) Exam---

NEST exam have two categories. The Senior-I category is for students of MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS and class 12 (Science stream). The senior-II category is for student (3rd and 4th year) Enrolled in the in colleges / universities and appearing in the final examinations of the current academic year.

Also you can get scholarship without giving exams. For example in West-Bengal "Swami Vivekananda MCM scholarship" is given to students studying in different courses. It offers a stipend of Rs.50,000/month for MBBS as well as Engineering students.
