If by "value" you mean "scope", then yes, there is a lot of scope in Mechatronics. It's a field that is rapidly budding with opportunities in other fields like Robotics, System Engineering, Data Science and Automation. A course in Mechatronics gives you a complete overview of engineering and specialization in one. There are ample opportunities in the field abroad, in countries like Germany and Singapore.
