Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute, Chennai is a decent college in terms of :

Placements : This college does not have any core placements for our department. But our seniors have got placed in MNC companies. Placement cell is placed to give more job opportunities for students. They got placed according to their capacity. But still many of them have not yet placed.

Infrastructure : Our college has a great infrastructure with fast Wi-Fi facilities, broad classrooms with full ventilation facilities. We have a big library in which u can find every categories of book. For medical facilities they have placed a room for first aid treatment. All labs for equipped with fine infrastructure and good quality products. They provide good food in the canteen. But hostel food is too bad.

Faculty : Teachers are really helpful. They help us in every situation with ocean of knowledge. They gave a moral support and serves as a pillar of strength. Teaching quality is good but it can be improved more. Teaching methods are different from other colleges. They provide extra information about the social awareness.

It is a descent University in chennai the faculty is very good, the administration isnt very strict and thy conduct many national and international conferences industrial visits are also done often.
