Yes, the newly established Medical Colleges will be available for All India Quota Counseling and State counseling from the academic year 2021-2022 only.

------- As of now UP has about 48 medical colleges including both the government and private sectors.

------ Nine medical colleges of UP attached with their existing district hospitals received the approval to start teaching for the academic session 2021-2022 by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

----- As many as 100 MBBS seats were proposed for each of these nine medical colleges which are based in Etah, Deoria, Sidharthnagar, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Hardoi, Fatehpur and Mirzapur.
