Does NSIT and DTU accept jsos(jhakrhand state open school) students?
Hello Sam , The main criterion for getting admission into DTU and NSIT is your rank in jee mains but some other conditions are apply 1. 40% weightage is given to your JEE mains score and 60% weightage is given to your Intermediate Board result 2. The age of candidates must lies between 17 to 25 years on time of submitting form 3.Ranking is prepared for getting admission into NSIT and DTU by JAC Delhi So Don't worry Sam you are eligible for NTA and DTU if you are satisfying above criterion

The JEE Main All India Rank is the basis for admission in NSIT and DTU. Further eligibility criteria are-1.candidates should have at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Qualifying exams / 12th from the recognised Centre or State Board.
2. They should also have passed English as a core or elective subject in 10+2.
3.Also, the candidates have to pass in each subject separately.
Further for DTU, 40% weight age is given to JEE score and 60% weight age is given to the marks you score in 12th board. The final admission depends on the the JEE score, 12 th marks and Joint Admission Counselling.
Those candidates who have done their schooling from CBSE, ICSE or from any board equivalent to the exam conducted by CBSE are eligible for NSIT. So, don't worry you are eligible because JSOS is a recognised open school but the selection depends on your JEE Main rank. Good Luck!
