does pgcet gives ranks based on the level of exam whether its easy or medium or tough?

Hi,

PGCET ranking will be given based on the marks you score in the exam. It doesn't depend on the toughness of paper.

If the candidate score the highest marks, he/she will be given rank 1 . Same thing follows, the student with next highest marks will be given rank 2 . If there is a case where two or more candidates are scoring same marks then they calculate the total aggregate marks. Even then the score is same they calculate the age of the candidate, the student who is elder will be given the higher rank.

Hello,

Rank doesn't depend on the difficulty level of the examination. Rank depends on marks scored in the entrance examination, total number of candidates appeared for the entrance examination in that particular year, ties in the score, top score in the exam, lowest score and other such factors. Factors like these determine the rank of the candidate.
