See in Engineering, the companies don't like specialization a lot in there engineering student. So if you work in companies which are product based or Service Based, in both cases, the BE/BTech are recruited with the salary amount reasonable to there qualification. But when a PhD or MTech holder applies then they also get the same salary package and which I will say is a demerit for a graduate who have invested 2-6 more years after BTech. So if you want to go for the Product based companies then don't go for MTech or PhD, go for it after BTech. But if you want to go for R&D positions or want to be a professor or researcher then go for MTech & PHD which will be a better option for you.
