No Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology does not accept Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main for admissions. Candidates need to apply and appear in Sathyabama All India Entrance Examination (SAEEE) and obtain a valid rank for admission to B.Tech/BE/B.Arch./B.Des programme. Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology was established in the year 1987 and is a private college. The college is accredited by the NAAC with ‘A’ Grade and the  engineering programs are accredited by the NBA. Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology  has UGC approval.
