Does Thapar take admission based on Best 4 of 12th Board marks or average of all 5 subjects?

Hello Aspirant,

Thapar university does admission in two modes.

Mode 1 - 50% of seat allotment based on JEE Main score

Eligibility

  1. 12th qualified 60% marks or more (55% for SC/ST candidates) in 3 subjects, i.e., Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotech.
  2. Appeared in JEE (Main)

Mode – 2:

(Established on 10+2 marks in PCM) for 50% of seat allotment.

Eligibility :

  1. The candidate must have qualified 12th board 70% with marks (65% for SC/ST candidates) or more in 3 subjects, i.e., Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology or Biotech.
  2. Had appeared  JEE (Main).
