Dear Naveen, though you are studying your 12th in Telangana, because you have studied until 10th in Karnataka, you are eligible for KCET. By being eligible for their exam, you also will be included in their ranking system. Your 10+2 marks have 50% weightage in determining your KCET rank. KCET is conducted for 180 marks and the subjects score is calculated for 3000. To Calculate the rank, your KCET score and 10+2 score out of 300 will be taken into consideration. For example, if you scored 100 in KCET and 200 in your 10+2, by applying the formula {(%KCET+%PUC)/200}*100, you get your approximate rank. Considering all this, your theory score should be nothing less than 200-240 and your KCET score should be more than 100.
