rajiv gandhi indian institue of management was the former name of the college recently it is just called as IIM . II M Shillong offers Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), Management Development Programme (MDP), and Faculty Development Programme (FDP). Admission is offered on the basis of CAT scores. However it does not offer the MBA programme in health care management .

As of 2018, IIM Shillong doesnt provides an MBA in healthcare management. Though according to the college dean, healthcare management along with 3 new courses is scheduled to start from 2020.
