It is necessary to have studied and passed Mathematics at the qualifying examination for admission to B. Com. (Hons.) but it is not necessary to include marks of Mathematics in best four. As per the Delhi University Information Bulletin: Selection shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination including one language and three best subjects as per the following: An aggregate of 45% or more in English/Hindi and combination of best three among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies/ Commerce.

the combination of best four subjects for the course B.com (//B.com) hons in delhi university is candidate must have secured an aggregate of 60 percent marks or more in english/hindi and combination of three best from the subjects are mathematics , accountancy, economics and business studies/commerce , if you exclude any of the subjects mentioned before will lead a deduction of 1 percent per subject on aggregate with a net deduction of 2 percent , exclusion of any of the subject mentioned already will lead a deduction of 2.5 percent per subject on aggregate of best four
