According to me, this is not important how many hours you are studying, the important thing is how much you are learning properly. So I would say it is not necessary to give 6 hours daily as better to give less number of hours but make sure the concepts or the topics which you are learning are completely ready for the exam. Along with this, below I am providing some preparation tips which can be helpful for you -
1. Know the syllabus very well.
2. Read standard books apart from NCERT only as there are many books available in the market so it is advisable to use the books which make all your concepts clear and which are easy to understand.
3. Understand the weightage of topics properly.
4. Proper Revision plan should be followed.
5. Mock Tests and Practice Tests should be done as this will help you to learn time management skills and this will also make you familiar with the exam pattern.
Hope this helps!!!
If you want to crack your exam you should focus on quality of time which you give for your study not quantity.
Five months are enough to crack JEE exam if you plan your study and you are determined to crack your exam. Make sure your basics are clear. You should complete NCERT book to build your base strong. You can refer previous year paper and mock test seriesfor your practice and to score good marks.
All the Best!!
Yes of course, you can crack if you give this time with the quality of study then this time is enough to crack the exam. Here are some important tips you can follow.
1. Know your Syllabus Well: Check on the full syllabus of JEE Main 2018 before laying out your schedule for the upcoming studies. With this you will be able to know which units and topics are to be studied under each subject.
2. Work on a Time Table: Work towards creating a perfect timetable which will fit your schedule while leaving enough time to prepare for the examination within the days left. Specific number of hours can be divided between the three subjects. Make sure to add short and sweet breaks in between for some relaxation.
3. Make your Basic Concepts Strong: It is advised to study the basic concepts well first. By knowing the basic concepts of the units involved in the examination, you will be able to understand each topics well and in depth. This will result in a greater understanding of the topics and will make it simpler for you to study complicated concepts present in the syllabus.
4. Improve your Weak Points: Stressed over some topics or formulas which you just cannot seem to understand? Give more time and focus on these topics to improve it. Keep small notes and constantly revise those concepts which has been hard to understand. By constantly studying the topics you find difficult, you will be able to be well prepared in them for the upcoming examination.
5. Write Notes and Prepare Flash Cards: Like discussed in the previous strategy, keeping notes greatly helps during the preparation process. Notes written in small diaries are highly accessible and you will be able to study from them anywhere anytime. By writing down those complicated theories and formula and revising them, you will be able to remember and understand them more efficiently. Similarly, create flash cards to help you with quick studies and revision.
6. Attempt Mock Test and Solve Sample Papers: Mock tests will give you an almost real experience of how the examination will be. By solving mock tests, you will be able to work on time management while at the same time understanding the question paper pattern. Similarly, sample papers will let you practically apply all of the topics you have been studying till now. Preparation using mock test and sample papers will let you know how much syllabus you have covered and where you will need to work to improve.
7. Revision: it is important to revise those topics which has already been studied. It is advised that each day, a certain amount of time should be divided for revision purposes. Revision is very important as the syllabus is quite vast and all topics have similar importance level which has to be remembered and known by you.
