Doing eee in sastra is better? Or in government aided colleges?
Hey there, to answer your question firstly I would like to point out Sastra is a deemed university whereas there are much better government colleges for eee.
SASTRA, of course. Being a deemed university, they can have their own syllabus and exam patterns. More than anything else, the extra-curricular and co-curricular opportunities available in SASTRA are very very vast. They have an exceptional placement record.
As per the recently published NIRF Rankings (engineering institutions in India), SASTRA has been ranked 31 in India, in the list headed by IIT Madras. So SASTRA is great if you get in whereas you are able to get a good government college with name value and the stream of your preference then I would say you should go for that instead.
Good Luck!
Hello.
The curriculum may or may not be helpful to your career. In reality there are only 20% of the total strength of the department were able to be placed in companies ,where they get chance to work on their respective education. Coming to teaching , There are very good professors who are ready to learn new things with you and share their industrial experience. Indeed those lessons will be helpful only to a minimal extent for placements. The curriculum will be helpful up to 70% for National Level exams like GATE. If you are interested in researching , you have great opportunities at SASTRA.
If you are willing to do EEE in govt. Then IITs and NITs are recommended but thought you can join in state level universities for good Placements and faculty.
Hope this is helpful.
Good luck.
