Dear Aspirant,
Domicile certificate is always required of the candidates who are applying for a job or admission, etc. You have to produce your domicile certificate and not your father's, there may be some case when Father's domicile is also needed but in most of the cases the domicile of the candidate is required.
If you don't have a domicile yet, I suggest you should apply for one immediately. Generally it'll take around 2-3 weeks to get a domicile certificate.
