Doubt I have got 9 cgpa in 10th class but i dont know how to calculate marks and %age to fill cat form
Hi Khushboo,
For calculating the percentage and marks obtained in class 10 th or equivalent, the overall CGPA and the individual CGPA obtained for each subject needs to be considered and multiplied by the factor mentioned in the mark-sheet. There will be a conversion factor which will be assigned by the Board/ Institute/University and stated in the mark-sheet, the same needs to be used for any calculation.
If any Institute/Board/University has provided only the letter grades without mentioning an conversion factor or equivalent proportion of marks in the mark-sheet, in that case you need to get a certificate from the Institute/Board/University specifying the proportionate marks or conversion factor to be used in order to fill the CAT application form.
