Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a 3 years full time graduate course which is divided into 6 semesters. Pharmaceutical science is concerned with the development and design of new medicines or drugs for medicinal and clinical purposes. This explores the different inputs of medicines, then how they work and how they can be designed, formulated, and tested. This study provides a wide range of understanding of all aspects of the pharmaceutical industry.

Most of the colleges offer Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences course in India. Top most colleges are:


  • Apeejay University, Gurgaon
  • Amity University, Noida
  • NIMS University, Jaipur
  • University of Mumbai, Mumbai
  • ITS Pharmacy College, Ghaziabad

Pharm D graduates with minimum 60% CPA are eligible to start research work (PhD). It can be done in two ways: Full time and Part time.

Depends on the University, Ranking, area of your research., One would also be provided with either Stipend/ Scholarship every month or Per Annum
