Dropping two year for Jee main is not a good decision.
This step have lots of disadvantages:
1. You are two year lag behind your schoolmates.
2. Jee main is not too tough exam so it will require two more year time to prepare for it after class 12.
3. Most of Companies allow 1 year drop with specific reason but generally not consider good if candidate have drop of more than one year.
4. Mentale pressure can harm your performance .
There are other points which are not good for dropping 2 year for Jee main exam.
Candidate have other options rather than dropping two years for Jee main exam.

~ if jee mains have given two drops chances then why on earth you are doubting about your career ... Its given two years for some reason ...!
Of course you can if you are really confident of it.
But let me warn you that taking a 2 year gap is not a common thing prevalant among students so even if you succeed you might be questioned about it espicially during placement.
Moreover you have to be mentally strong enough to ignore the logicless cursing of the society. At last it is'nt only you who will be waiting for 2 long years along with you your family members will also have to wait for those 2 long years to fullfill their desire of seeing you touching the sky. So make sure whether anybody else believe you or not they stand on your side.
You dont have to drop 2 years to be honest. One year is more than enough. If you put in your everything you can get top 200 in 6 months if you start from scratch with just CBSE knowledge.
But at last, the decision is yours.
Best of luck.
Hi,Vishal! dropping for 2 years after 12th is always risky but if you are sure enough that you will definitely do well, then go for it. There are pros and cons for dropping. As in case of pros, you have a 2 year experience of jee mains and hence, you can have an added advantage for you. But this same advantage will be a con for you if you are unable to utilize it.Moreover, you will not be able to sit for JEE ADVANCE even if you qualify. Hence, if you want a suggestion from my side, please drop for 2nd year if and only if you are sure about yourself.
