Syllabus of DU B.Ed 2019 Exam

Part A consists of General awareness, reasoning and language comprehension (compulsory for all candidates). This section would include areas to assess abilities of the candidates such as reasoning (mathematical, inductive & deductive), identifying and understanding the relationship among various elements, decision making, data analysis, interpretation. Items in the fields of education, national and international affairs, etc. would also be included in this section to assess their understanding in these areas also. Further, a passage would also be included in this section based on which a few objective type questions will be asked to assess the candidates language comprehension.

Part A (1 mark each)

General English Comprehension or General Hindi Comprehension- 10 questions

Teaching Learning & the school- 25 questions

Logical and analytical reasoning- 20 questions

Education and General awareness- 25 questions

Part B (20 marks)

B2 of the entrance test will assess the candidates teaching aptitude and their chosen subjects understanding. Aspirants have to choose any of the following subjects depending on their specialization.

Science

English

Hindi

Mathematics

Social Studies

Interview

Interview is carried out to check the following skills of the candidate:

Subject knowledge

Oral communication ability

General awareness

Reading interests

Understanding of children

Social issues

Potential for critical thinking

Preparing for B. Ed is simple. as per my information you must read at least tow reputed news papers daily one is like times of india or the hindu or any good news paper and make note of important events, dates, and points
2) read all the text books of secondary school preapare notes of each subject, like writer poets, artists, their important work, their important literature and characters, formulas of mathematics, physics, chemistry etc. geographical information, historcal dates and events and many more things and you will easily score very good. dont take tension
3) last and important thins is that study every day
