For sitting in an entrance exams DU releases around 4-5 list of cut-off marks for merit based student. You can wait for it and compare your marks accordingly.  The first list is released in June and goes till July. Sometimes, DU also releases a sixth cut-off list in the month of July itself. The closing date of the admissions process is in August and if in any of the list you get qualified then the admission procedure starts immediately.
