While studying MBBS, you get to study Medicine for 50 months and then complete the 1 year mandatory internship. You learn everything required for treating patients during this 50 months. Research in AIIMS is for Postgraduate Candidates and others and not MBBS students. Please read about the research department at AIIMS at: http://researchsection.aiims.edu/rsection/home.aspx
