After CSE, I believe Electronics/ECE branch has the next best career scope and placement prospects, besides having a very student friendly curriculum in most Indian Technical Universities. You essentially have a lot of options after B.Tech in ECE. You may enter the Core Electronics Sector with Companies like Intel, Micron, Texas Instruments, Reliance Jio, AMD, Qualcomm or the Industrial/Automotives Sector with Organizations like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Ford, JLR and so on. Government sector poses excellent opportunities for a ECE Graduate with PSUs and Enterprises like BHEL, BEML, BEL, HAL, ISRO, DRDO, BARC as well as Others like NTPC, IOCL and SAIL. You may even enter the field of Research with a PhD in Electronics and it is one of the fields with most frequent International Citations and Publications.
