hello aspirant,

To be honest if you are really passionate and interested in your seleected branch and if you ace it any branch be good.but if you are thinking about chosing a branch which has good placements i.e placements wise when ece is better than chemical.because what happens during placements is that considering the companies coming are tech companies then if 100 companies approach for placements then those 100 tech companies allow cse students to sit in placements,whereas 70-80%companies allow ece stduents sit for tech companies placements and 60% for eee soo on and so forth.so placements wise if you want to become a software engineer  or government side then better chose ece.chemical doesnt have much oppurtunities as ece.but if you wana go there you need to ace the branch go get good oppurtunitiesfor furthur info check the links below: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/top-engineering-branches-in-india

Both the branches are good in today's era but as we compare both, the chemical engineers are have good future.
ECE, is one of the most sought-after engineering courses in India after Computer science, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. It involves designing, developing and manufacturing electronic equipment (for devices and circuits) as well as communication systems. The course enables you with a clear understanding of analog transmission, basic electronics, microprocessors, solid-state devices, digital analog communication, satellite communication, Integrated circuits, antennae and wave progression and microwave engineering.
Chemical Engineering is a field that mainly focuses on helping and also bringing advancement in the health care system. The candidates in the field of Chemical Engineering also help in developing various processing systems to ensure the proper disposal of waste.Chemical Engineering plays a crucial role in the unit of food processing which helps the food processing companies to make food consumable.

Hello applicant,

*Every branch of engineering has its own importance and utility. One must choose the branch of your interest irrespective of its goodness or badness. Nevertheless, the two branches you mentioned are entirely different from one another.

* ECE : -

*When compared to chemical there are more opportunities here. You can work in large software related MNCs and give ESE. The placement is good.

* CHEMICAL :-

*Being a Chemical engineer you have to work in industries and laboratories. It is more research oriented. You can give ESE but not with your branch. You will work in large MNCs.

*Moreover, there would be great difference in lifestyle. Hence choose wisely and follow your interest.

Hope it helpful
