EE is a core branch, So can I sit in the internships and placements of Tech companies like Google, Microsoft or other MNCs if I have skills?

Dear aspirant,
As you told that you are from core engineering department which electrical engineering I don't think non core and tech giants like microsoft ,Google would be the ones which you can go for. As they would prefer non core students. You can go to analytics companies.
