Hi
As per your question the placement statistics of EEE and ECE has its own significance in its own fields.
For placements, ECE graduates can apply for jobs in various companies along side EEE candidates.
However, IT companies will have a better preference for ECE graduates since they need studied
communications too during their course. the most point is that you simply choose a course during which
you're interested since the location for both courses are pretty good.
It’s completely upto you. Now-a-days, many of us from even branches like Civil and Mechanical get
placed in IT companies because they need strong coding skills. So, if you're getting placed on campus, it
doesn’t matter much if you're from ECE or EEE ; you only got to have nice programming skills.
But in off-campus placements, the scenario may be a bit different. Most IT companies mention the
branches for being eligible to use as CS/IT and ECE. So, for off-campus drives, ECE would be better for a
software job.
Hope helpful.
