electrical and electronics has wider scope than electrical. compare the syllabus for the two:

Hii radha,
If you want to elaborate conbined study of electronics and electrical, than it would be better but it is not a general rule. Electrical engineering is also a good option for those who want a specific choice in electrical engineering.
