EEE involves electronics and electrical study while ECE involves study of electronics and some part of communications. In core companies, demand of EEE is more in comparison to ECE. Whereas ECE students can apply for IT companies as well. EEE students don't have much scope in IES while ECE students have.
I myself am doing ECE so there are pros and cons in both branches, if you go for ECE you will have more knowledge about communications sector and programming too so you will have more advantages in ECE than EEE.
So It solely depends on your interests in which field you are more interested in.
