ECE students can develop an exciting career in industries like consumer electronics manufacturing organization, Telecommunication & IT industries, Health care equipment manufacturing, Mobile communication (2G,3G,4G), Internet technologies, Power Electronics, and other industries like steel, petroleum and chemical industry etc.

Graduates in Electronics Engineering also have lots of opportunities in Government and private companies in the areas of design, manufacture, installation, operation, and maintenance of electronics equipment and systems.The latest technologies include self-driving cars, autonomous drone logistics, robotics, automation in industries, smart energy systems etc.However, according to payscale.com the average annual salary of these professional includes Rs. 312,408 per year.

IoT is creating an environment of unification in the society. Today, IoT is being implemented everywhere which is of human concern like smart city, security, smart agriculture and home automation. This has created a lot of buzz among industries and right now all the companies are looking for candidates who has practical experience in IoT.

As it also vary from college to college. Placement depends on college and students also.

Hello aspirant!



Electronics and communication or ece as they say is one of the top branches of engineering in the modern world.



While the competition between ece and cse still persists let me tell you that the starting salary of ece in India may be around 10L ( considering the higher side).



While on the other hand on an average 5L is a decent package.



According to my knowledge, the ranges of salary are higher outside India,somewhere between 50L.

Ece is an evergreen branch and it has a very good scope in future.We can also go for government jobs if you excel in this branch your starting package will 12 to 20 lacs per annum or more.

Hello,

Electronics and Communication Engineering mainly deals in the field of analysis,design,electronics and communication circuits.

There is a lot of scope for this subject in India.Students are hired by some of the reputed companies from the IT Sectors.

It is an undergraduate course of 4 years divided into 8 semesters.

The course fee ranges from 1.5-4 lacs and the payscale is increases with the work experience.B.Tech graduates can expect a payscale in th range of 2-4 lacs at the beginning.
