There are no set criteria for admission to a BA English Hons program in a college. The only requirement is that you have English in your 12th grade, have passed all your subjects, and have received a Pass Certificate from your school. Some colleges ask for 60% above in 12th.

This is just the eligibility criteria. After you are eligible, you need to appear for the CUET UG exam, a centralized exam for admissions to UG program. Based on your marks, different colleges release their cut-off lists and you can take admission. You don't need to be an Arts/Humanities student in 11th and 12th classes, you can be from any stream to study English Hons, even in Master's level.
