Hello Harsha,
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) conducts Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) every year in computer-based examination for admissions to post graduate and PhD programmes in pharmacy. The medium of exam is english which is conducted for two hours and there are a total of 200 multiple choice questions which are subject to negative marking. A correct response adds 1 mark and an incorrect one deducts 0.25.
According to the NIPER JEE eligibility criteria, candidates must score the minimum marks in the qualifying exam so that they can take the entrance test.
For M.S. (Pharm.)/M.Pharm./M.Tech. (Pharm.), the qualifying degree should be B.Pharm. or M.Sc.
The candidates have to score minimum 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam.
For SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks required in qualifying exam should be 55%. For Physically Handicapped candidates, the minimum marks are 50%.
Good luck,
Hope it helps :)
